The Spitfire Band are a dance band from Toronto, Ontario. They formed in 1981 as a studio orchestra by singer Jackie Ray. They recorded two studio albums, The Spitfire Band and Flight II, before their first live performance in 1982 in St. Catharines, Ontario. They have since recorded seven albums.[2]
